Give the landlord or property manager the proposed TV location, screen size, bracket type and cable finish. Ask whether drilling, surface covers and any wall openings are allowed. Keep the written response with the installation details so everyone is working from the same permission.

Do not assume a rule from a neighboring apartment or another Louisville property applies to your lease. We do not claim that most local leases permit mounting or that every building uses the same framing.

• Is mounting allowed on this exact wall?
• Are there wall assemblies or areas that must not be drilled?

Compare Cable Options Before Choosing Concealment

Visible cables or a suitable surface raceway may avoid an interior route, but surface attachments can still affect paint. Do not assume adhesive covers are damage-free or permitted by every lease. Concealment can involve a different level of wall access and must be approved as part of the actual scope.

Use a Clear Layout, Then Think Ahead to Move-Out

Mark the desired screen outline, compare the view from your seating and leave space for the soundbar. Keep a record of the approved location and installation details. Discuss any later removal or restoration as separate work; it is not automatically part of the original mounting service.
