Before anyone drills
We confirm the display size and the mount’s weight and VESA compatibility, then preview the proposed position on the wall with blue tape. You can adjust the height or centering while the position is still easy to change. We check the wall’s construction and mounting points, and consider the likely path of electrical, plumbing and other concealed services. A visual or electronic scan reduces uncertainty, but a wall cannot be certified from a photograph or scanner alone.
If the proposed location lacks an appropriate fixing point, the bracket is incompatible, or the wall conceals a risk that cannot be resolved safely, the plan changes before holes are made. Alternatives can include a different location, a suitable mounting system, surface cable raceway, or a separate assessment. We do not promise that every wall accepts every TV or mount.
The wall changes the method
Drywall and wood framing
For a typical residential drywall wall, we locate and confirm suitable wood studs, compare their position with the viewing layout, and check the TV and mount specifications before choosing fastening points. The bracket must transfer its load to appropriate support; drywall finish alone is not a substitute for that support. We mark and verify the bracket position, install the hardware appropriate to the specific bracket and framing, then hang and secure the TV. We check the screen with a level, adjust its final position, and recheck attachment and movement where the mount articulates. A large full-motion arm creates more leverage than a fixed mount, so its travel, stud spacing and clearance need separate review. If the proposed layout and safe support cannot be reconciled, we discuss another position or mounting approach before drilling.
Brick, concrete, stone and fireplaces
Masonry needs substrate-specific fasteners and an assessment of the actual material behind the visible finish. Decorative stone, veneer, mortar joints and a fireplace surround are not interchangeable with solid concrete or structural brick. The team checks viewing height, heat exposure and a sensible cable route before proposing a fireplace installation. A high or hot location may call for a different wall or a lowerable mount when compatible.
Plaster and metal studs
Older plaster can crack when treated like modern drywall, and metal framing calls for a different fastening strategy from wood studs. We assess the wall and the bracket’s load path instead of relying on a generic anchor recommendation. Send a wall photo before booking if the construction is uncertain.
Cables, power and connected devices
A low-profile surface raceway is a practical option when opening a wall is undesirable, including many rentals with permission to mount. In-wall concealment depends on the wall cavity, power location, cable type and code-compliant components. A standard TV power cord must not simply be run loose inside a wall. If new electrical work is needed, its scope and qualified provider must be established before work proceeds. Fireplaces and chimneys can make in-wall routing unsuitable; a surface route or different placement may be safer.
For a Samsung Frame TV, the included mount, display generation, One Connect components and cable path must be checked together. A recessed media box can support a close-to-wall finish where compatible, but its dimensions, ventilation, accessibility and permitted cable routing matter. Javi’s installations can sit flush to the wall when the wall and equipment allow it; a photograph alone cannot establish the behind-wall configuration.
Protect, install, test, explain
- Protect the work area, use shoe covers and control drilling dust as described in our on-site process.
- Install the compatible bracket, lift and secure the TV using enough people for the actual size and handling conditions.
- Check alignment, attachment and practical movement or clearance for the selected mount.
- Connect and test the agreed devices, review the final cable route with you, clean the work area and walk through the result.
What to send and how to book
Have the TV size and model, a picture of the proposed wall and any fireplace, the mount you own (if any), and your soundbar or wire-hiding preferences ready. Can every TV go over a fireplace?
No. Height, heat, substrate and safe cable routing determine whether the location is appropriate. We may recommend another position or a different mount.
Can wires always be hidden inside the wall?
No. Wall construction, code-compliant power, access and obstacles determine the route. A raceway can be a cleaner alternative without opening the wall.
How much will my installation cost?
The total depends on the TV size, wall, mount, cable management, soundbar and other selected options. Our one-year workmanship warranty covers the installation, and TV mounts we provide are covered; other hardware is not.
