Plan Your TV and Soundbar as One Setup
Choose the soundbar position before fixing the TV height. Decide whether the soundbar stays on the wall or moves with a compatible TV attachment, then check its required clearances, ports and cable route. At Javi’s, soundbar mounting can be booked alone or with a TV: $100 with visible soundbar cables or $200 with them concealed.

Wall Mounted or Attached to the TV?
A wall-mounted soundbar stays in its position when the screen turns. A soundbar attached through a compatible TV mounting system may move with the display, but that adds compatibility, load and clearance checks. Do not assume every bracket supports that combination.
If you mainly watch straight ahead, a fixed wall arrangement may be practical. If your TV turns toward another seat, consider where the sound will point and how the cables move. Our mount guide helps define the movement you actually need.
Leave the Clearance the Soundbar Requires
Keep speaker openings, controls and the TV sensor clear. Some soundbars direct sound upward or sideways, so a tight decorative gap can interfere with their intended placement.
For example, the Sonos Arc Ultra guide specifies at least 4 inches between the mounted soundbar and TV and recommends clearance at the ends. That is a model-specific example, not a spacing rule for every soundbar. Use your actual model’s instructions and include the soundbar in the taped screen layout.
Plan Power and the Audio Connection
Identify the correct ports on the TV and soundbar before concealing cables. HDMI ARC/eARC capability and other supported connections depend on the equipment. Mounting the soundbar does not guarantee every audio format or wireless feature across every TV.
Place any related devices where they remain accessible. If the TV moves, the agreed cable path needs to move without pulling on connectors. Our wire-planning guide explains why power and signal routes should be considered separately.

Keep the Two Cable Selections Clear
TV cable concealment and soundbar cable concealment are separate choices. For one standard 32–85 inch TV on drywall with your compatible mount and both devices’ cables visible, the combined TV and soundbar total is $310. Different TV surfaces, brackets or finishes change it.
For the defined concealed Art TV package plus concealed soundbar, the combined service price is $800. The concealed Art TV finish is already included; do not add standard TV concealment again. Use the Frame guide for model-specific equipment planning.
Mistakes to Avoid Before Drilling
- Mounting the TV first and finding there is no room for the soundbar.
- Covering upward-facing speakers or the TV’s remote sensor.
- Assuming a soundbar price includes a new TV installation.
- Choosing concealed TV wires but leaving the soundbar’s finish unspecified.
A fireplace adds heat and clearance requirements for both devices. A surround-sound system or custom equipment layout may go beyond mounting one soundbar; describe the equipment before selecting a standard service.
Questions Homeowners Ask
Can I book only soundbar mounting?
Yes. Soundbar is available as its own service; a TV installation is not required.
Does the concealed option add to the visible-cable price?
They are alternative soundbar finishes. Choose one; the concealed option is not a second charge on top of the visible option.
Will the soundbar move with the TV?
Only with a compatible attachment arrangement. A soundbar fixed to the wall remains there when a moving TV turns.
Can every soundbar sit directly against the bottom of the TV?
No. Clearances and speaker locations differ by model. Check the soundbar instructions before choosing the gap.
